Though, in this case, since identity politics are inherently noxious, aiming at it seems a fine idea.

Especially if we read "decay" as being a process of weakening or undermining but not necessarily all that far advanced.Lorenzohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00305933404442191098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2197051945822486684.post-72842019492365075592016-08-27T05:03:08.044+10:002016-08-27T05:03:08.044+10:00A) The emergence of identity politics is causing t...A) The emergence of identity politics is causing the decay of Western civilization.
B) The decay of Western civilization is causing the emergence of identity politics.

So moving from correlation to causation, how do we determine the direction of the causal arrow? I'll look at the 2015 Hugos since I read all the nominations from that in the Hugo packet and the Puppy slate was mostly represented. John C. Wright has a lot of wordsmithing skill and deserved to be represented. I liked "In the Stone House" too and some others were creditable. But there were also works like The Triple Sun, Ashes to Ashes, Spiritual Plane, and Single Samurai which were just sort of embarrassing to have there.Andrew Cloughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16396078934805156025noreply@blogger.com
